About the RoleWe are looking for a creative and strong Marathi Content Writer who can create engaging, simple and audience-friendly content for social media platforms. The candidate will be responsible for developing Marathi content for social media posts, Reels, campaigns, awareness initiatives and digital communication.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Marathi language, social media trends and the ability to communicate complex information in simple Marathi.

Key Responsibilities

- Write engaging Marathi content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Create captions, social media posts, Reel scripts, video scripts and campaign content in Marathi.
- Develop content for government schemes, public awareness campaigns and social initiatives.
- Convert complex information into simple and easy-to-understand Marathi.
- Plan content along with the social media and creative team.
- Research current topics, trends and relevant Marathi content.
- Create festival, awareness and campaign-based content.
- Coordinate with designers and video editors to develop creative content.
- Proofread and ensure accuracy of Marathi grammar, spelling and language.
- Maintain consistency in tone and messaging across all platforms.
- Monitor audience response and suggest content improvements.




- Assist in developing content calendars and social media campaigns.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marathi, Marketing, Arts or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Marathi content writing, social media content or digital marketing.
- Excellent command of written Marathi.
- Good working knowledge of English and Hindi.
- Experience in writing social media captions and short-form content.
- Understanding of Instagram, Facebook and YouTube content formats.

Skills Required
- Excellent Marathi writing and proofreading skills.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills.
- Ability to write short, engaging and impactful content.
- Good understanding of social media trends.
- Creative thinking and content ideation.
- Basic knowledge of Canva or other content tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work with designers, video editors and social media teams.
- Good research and fact-checking skills.

Ideal Candidate
- A candidate who is strong in Marathi writing, understands social media and can turn information into straightforward, engaging and impactful content. Experience in government awareness campaigns, NGOs, public communication or social-impact projects will be an added advantage.
