About the Role UrbanWrk is looking for an experienced legal qualified to lead legal contracting, litigation management, and landlord documentation across business operations. This role will act as a strategic legal partner to commercial and operations teams while ensuring risk mitigation and timely closure of legal matters.

Key Responsibilities Commercial Contracting & Client Documentation - Own end-to-end drafting, review, negotiation, and execution of Client LOIs, commercial agreements, service agreements, amendments, and associated legal documentation.

- Advise business stakeholders on contractual obligations and legal risk exposure.
- Standardize templates and strengthen contract governance practices.
- Support commercial closures while balancing legal and business priorities. Litigation & Recovery Management - Handle legal disputes relating to client defaults, delayed payments, contractual breaches, and recovery matters.
- Draft and manage payment recovery notices, legal notices, demand communications, and pre-litigation documentation.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and monitor progress of disputes and litigation matters.




- Recommend practical legal resolutions to minimize business impact. Landlord & Real Estate Legal Management - Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of Landlord LOIs, lease agreements, amendments, renewals, and related commercial documentation.
- Support expansion initiatives through legally compliant documentation and negotiations.
- Ensure contractual protection across leased and managed spaces.

Legal

Advisory & Governance - Act as a legal business partner for internal stakeholders across functions.

- Develop legal processes, trackers, and document controls.
- Ensure adherence to applicable corporate and commercial legal requirements.

Ideal Candidate

Profile - LLB / BA LLB (mandatory); LLM preferred.

- 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in commercial contracts, litigation, and real estate/legal documentation.
- Strong experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Exposure to lease agreements, payment recovery, and dispute resolution.
- Ability to independently manage stakeholders and drive legal closures.
