Role- Maintenance Analyst The Maintenance Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the department by conducting in-depth analyses, interpreting data, and providing actionable insights to drive decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in engineering, with a strong analytical background, and the ability to apply engineering principles to solve complex problems.

Job Summary:

PURPOSE

- Responsible for review of historic breakdowns,



planned and corrective maintenance to develop improvements to equipment maintenance strategies to increase equipment availability and reliability and reduce total cost of ownership.
- Support the APMT Business Information solution, by developing and improving reports and KPI’s for local terminal Asset Maintenance activities and contributing to the ongoing development and enhancements to Global AM reports and KPIs.
- Provide expert analytics for local terminal maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure quality of data in CMMS system through regular reviews

Key Responsibilities

Analysis and Interpretation:

- Collect, analyze, and interpret engineering data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop models and simulations to predict outcomes and support decision-making.

Project Support

- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide analytical support for ongoing and future projects.
- Assist in the development and optimization of processes, systems, and designs.

Reporting and Documentation:

- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documents summarizing analysis results, methodologies, and recommendations.
- Ensure accuracy and clarity in all documentation, adhering to department standards.

Process Improvement:





- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements within the engineering department.
- Recommend and implement solutions to optimize performance and reduce costs.

Technical Support:

- Provide technical expertise in the evaluation of engineering problems and propose viable solutions.
- Support the engineering team with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and problem-solving.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including equipment managers, shift engineers, and frontline staff, to align on project goals and outcomes.
- Act as a liaison between the engineering department and other departments to ensure cohesive communication and collaboration.

Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure all engineering practices comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Participate in safety audits and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.

Experience:

- 7-10 years of experience in an engineering or analytical role within the engineering field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, process improvement, and project support in an engineering environment.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in engineering software tools (e.g., CAD, MATLAB, etc.) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL,).
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.

Qualifications:

- Education: bachelor’s degree in engineering/Mechanical/Electrical

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in project management Lean Six Sigma./Kaizen
- Experience in Port Industry is a added advantage.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
