Key Responsibilities
- Administer works contracts (EPC/Item-Rate) under Indian Railways/GCC guidelines, ensuring compliance and evaluating time extensions, variations, and claims.
- Analyze contractor claims, draft formal determinations, and assist Railway authorities and legal counsel in arbitration, conciliation, and litigation proceedings.
- Ensure project operations adhere to railway safety codes, labor laws, environmental regulations, and coordinate clearances with statutory bodies like the CRS.
- Require an LL.B./B.A. LL.B. (or Engineering degree with specialization in construction law) with min 3 to 5 years of infrastructure experience, specifically handling major railway or transport projects.
