JOB PURPOSE:

The Lead – SCM Finance will partner closely with Supply Chain and Business Leadership teams to drive Total Delivered Cost (TDC) optimization, strategic cost management, operational efficiency, and financial stewardship across the end-to-end supply chain network. The role will focus on enabling sustainable cost savings, maximizing supplier value, improving inventory and capital efficiency, and ensuring robust governance and financial controls within supply chain operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Total Delivered Cost (TDC) delivery targets, collaborating seamlessly with Supply Chain Functional Leaders to ensure these objectives are met.
2. Taking ownership of an End-to-End Comprehensive Annual Loss Analysis Program, which is designed to deliver annual TDC cost savings against stretch goals. This program encompasses all cost buckets and supply chain nodes, including manufacturing, logistics, raw and packaging materials (RPM), competitive benchmarking, supply network design, and innovation.
3. Partner with Supply chain Leadership to put in place Short Term and Long Team Supply Chain Strategy including Manufacturing Strategy.
4. Maximize Value with Supplier/Vendor Partnership/Contracts : Enables with purchase and sourcing teams to derive maximum value from sourcing.
5. Capital management, the Supply Chain Finance Leader guides and enables the supply chain and innovation teams to deliver targeted ROI capital projects,



owning NPV and payout analyses for projects and investments.
6. Inventory management and decision-making are also within their remit, ensuring the right strategies are in place for effective stock control. The role collaborates with supply chain, sales, finance, and IT teams on customer OSB systems and stewardship, fostering cross-functional alignment and support.
7. Stewardship and sound TDC accounting practices: Supply Chain Finance Leader ensures robust standards for costing, cost allocation, provisions, and accruals. Stewardship is another crucial area, as the leader owns and guides the supply chain team on proper SOPs and auditing to maintain integrity and compliance.
8. Partnering with supply chain leaders to drive efficient supply chain operations. This includes co-leading KPI tracking, root cause analysis, and action planning to ensure continuous improvement and optimal performance.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

CA / MBA Finance from a premium institute

WORK EXPERIENCE

8–12 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Finance

1. Expertise in cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
2. Experience in inventory management and working capital optimization
3. Robust business partnering and stakeholder management skills
4. Knowledge of manufacturing finance, sourcing, and procurement finance
5. Analytical mindset with problem-solving orientation
6. Strong governance, controls, and compliance understanding
7. Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP/ERP systems, and financial modelling
