Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Architect to design, implement, and modernize enterprise-scale analytics, data, and reporting platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Services, ETL/ELT architecture, data modeling, and enterprise BI modernization.
The candidate will lead the architecture and transformation of legacy BI environments into scalable, secure, and high-performance Microsoft Fabric and Power BI solutions. This role requires strong technical leadership, solution architecture, stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with enterprise data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise BI & Analytics Architecture
- Design and architect enterprise BI and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Factory.
- Develop scalable semantic models, enterprise reporting frameworks, dashboards, and governed analytics platforms.
- Lead migration and modernization of legacy BI platforms including Tableau, OBIEE, SSRS, and on-premises reporting environments.
- Design enterprise Star Schema and Snowflake Schema data models.
- Define architecture standards, best practices, and reusable BI capabilities.
Microsoft Fabric & Data Engineering
- Architect Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and OneLake solutions using Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold).
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric Data Factory, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and Azure Synapse.
- Develop scalable data ingestion frameworks for large AMS/CRM and operational databases.
- Implement incremental data loading using CDC, watermarking, partition-based extraction, and parallel processing.
- Design workload isolation strategies using staging databases, read replicas, and scheduled extraction windows.
- Optimize data pipelines, semantic models, DAX, tabular models,
and Power BI reports for enterprise-scale workloads.
Governance, Security & Performance
- Establish enterprise Power BI governance, security, and administration standards.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and secure data access frameworks.
- Configure and manage Power BI Enterprise Gateways and hybrid cloud integrations.
- Implement monitoring, auditing, error handling, retry mechanisms, and operational support processes.
- Ensure analytics platforms meet requirements for performance, scalability, availability, security, and compliance.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor BI developers, data engineers, and analytics consultants.
- Partner with business stakeholders, DBAs, enterprise architects, and leadership teams to define analytics roadmaps.
- Conduct technical workshops, architecture reviews, solution presentations, and design sessions.
- Provide technical guidance, estimation, planning, and governance throughout project delivery.
- Support Agile delivery and drive continuous improvement across BI and analytics initiatives.

- Experience supporting enterprise BI platforms with thousands of users
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Work Schedule Remote Position | Night Shift: 09:00 PM – 01:00 AM IST
Candidates must be comfortable working during the specified night-shift hours and collaborating with distributed/global teams.
