We are India’s most loved brand in our segment. Our journey began from a 10X10 feet store, driven by the realization that there were very few options available to fulfill the fashion requirements of plus-size beauties. Often, they were greeted with the disheartening statement:

“INKA SIZE TOH YAHA NAHI MILEGA”

Starting from an Instagram page with an initial investment of INR 50,000, we have faced numerous challenges to enhance our skills and build a happy customer base. Today, we are a rapidly growing team of 50+ people, supported by a dedicated production team. We have a trusted customer base of 2.5 lakh women and a strong presence on all major social media platforms, with 440K followers on Instagram and 60K on Facebook.

What Are We Looking For?We are seeking a talented and passionate Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in the creative process, from initial concept to final production. You will be responsible for researching trends, developing innovative designs, and ensuring the successful execution of each collection.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

- Market Research & • Trend Analysis:

Conduct thorough research on current and emerging fashion trends, analyzing consumer preferences, competitor offerings, and market demands.
- Concept Development & • Design:





Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop current product ideas based on research data and market insights.
- Design & • Sketching:

Create original sketches and illustrations for new apparel and accessories, showcasing innovative designs and concepts.
- Technical Design & • Pattern Making:

Develop technical drawings and patterns for garments, ensuring accurate sizing, fit, and construction.
- Material Selection: Select appropriate fabrics, colors, patterns, and textures for each design, considering factors like drape, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Production Oversight: Oversee the entire production process, including garment fittings, quality control, and cost analysis.
- Vendor & • Supplier Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and fabric manufacturers.
- Technical Communication: Communicate technical design information clearly and concisely to production teams and manufacturers.
- Prototype Development: Oversee the prototype sampling process, ensuring that samples meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Mood Board Creation: Collaborate with the design team to create inspiring mood boards that reflect the overall aesthetic and theme of each collection.
- Costing & • Product Lists:

Develop accurate cost sheets and product lists for each design, considering material costs, labor costs, and other relevant expenses.
- Marketing & • Sales Support:

Provide design input and support for marketing and sales materials, such as lookbooks and presentations.





Requirements:

- Proven work experience of 2+ years as a Fashion Designer or a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator (or similar design software).
- Exceptional hand-sketching and illustration skills.
- Excellent design and conceptual skills with a strong understanding of fashion aesthetics and trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant training and/or certifications in Fashion Design (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Highly creative and innovative with a passion for fashion.
