Position Purpose:

Resource hired through this will be joining the Plan and Knowledge Management Services Team (PKMS), responsible for managing and supporting functional/APS support of the tools like – Jira/Confluence/Jira Align etc. Providing day-to-day user support and fixing production issues concerning the tools as well as driving the evolution of the services to improve user experience through new services offering improved platform stability, performance, and architecture design.

The position requires working in a virtual team and international environment and is multidisciplinary in nature. It involves coordination with other locations and divisions of BNP Paribas as necessary. It is important that the candidate should have strong Jira and Confluence administration skills along with high analytical skills and attention to details.

Responsibilities:

Direct Responsibilities

· Handling team and working knowledge on Atlassian Jira, Confluence and Jira Align set-up & configuration (Installation, security, administration, plug-in’s, JIRA Rest API’s knowledge)

· Responsible for day-to-day team guidance and the successful delivery of specific project outcomes.

· Motivating team members, removing technical roadblocks, and ensuring that work meets the required quality standards.

· Make sure production services are up and running properly

· Make sure production services are set up and managed properly through DR, HA, monitoring and alerting, etc.

· Managing priority between multiple projects and collaboration between stakeholders.

· Actively engage with users and stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities to improve our services or for new service offerings

Contributing Responsibilities

· Robust experience with Java/Web architecture (esp. Apache Web server and Tomcat Application server).





· Expert experience with Atlassian products Jira, Confluence, Jira Align (Data center & Cloud).

· Good experience in architecture design, configuration management, system setup (Linux/ RedHat).

· Provide high quality, efficient support services to business users while adhering to support standards, as determined by support management.

· Investigate incidents and determine root causes in application (web front-end, JVM...), databases (Oracle, MS SQL) and system (Linux).

· Upgrade activities of different tools.

- Incident Management and Reporting.

Experience and skills required · Hands-on experience in managing & updating workflow, field configuration, screen, Notification scheme, etc.

· Experience with migration from Jira and Confluence data centre version to Cloud version or other knowledge management tools and project management tools.

· Strong experience with knowledge management tools and project management tools other than Atlassian Jira and Confluence.

· Strong experience in architecture design and build out of knowledge management tools and project management tools.

· Good experience in product evaluation and PoC.

· Strong communication skills to allow effective usage engagement and to translate user requirements into actionable tasks.

· Integration of JIRA & Confluence with other Tools (Bitbucket/Jenkins/Bamboo)

· Knowledge on Ansible/Groovy Scripting/Script Runner/Jira Automation





· Liaising with Infrastructure and IT Security teams to open appropriate ports and routes.

· Writing automation scripts (Unix Shell / Groovy / Python)

· Set-up and run housekeeping jobs (clean-up, archive, etc.) & help optimize the end-to-end process.

· Delivery focused and positive problem-solving attitude and Able to demonstrate initiative and flexibility.

· Good experience with DevOps tools like Ansible, Terraform, Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.

· Desire to learn new technologies, being able to translate business requirements into actionable tasks.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

· Ability to act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating high-level business needs into functional tool configurations.

· Mastery of the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Jira Align) including the ability to design scalable hierarchies and lead complex Cloud migrations.

· Infra & Performance Management along with vast knowledge of Production Expertise.

· Expertise in driving organizational adoption through strategic training, documentation, and managing the human side of process transitions.

· Hand-on experience on Linux servers, Oracle and MS SQL DB, one scripting language.

Experience of DevOps tools and promote automation.

Specific Qualifications:

- Minimum 8 years of experience along with bachelor’s degree - in engineering, IT, computer science etc.,
- Prior experience in similar domain.
