Role Description The Jewellery Merchandiser is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves planning and managing jewellery assortments, tracking inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely availability of products.

The Jewellery

Merchandiser will analyze sales data, monitor market trends, and suggest pricing, promotions, and product mix improvements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing merchandising plans, maintaining product displays, supporting marketing campaigns with product information, and collaborating with sales teams to optimize store performance.



The role also requires regular communication with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between merchandising strategy and business goals.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in merchandising, assortment planning, and product selection for jewellery or fashion retail.
- Proficiency in data analysis, sales reporting, and inventory tracking using spreadsheets or merchandising tools.
- Knowledge of jewellery materials, designs, and trends, with the ability to evaluate product quality and appeal.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with suppliers, designers, and internal teams.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple collections, timelines, and seasonal launches.
- Attention to detail and visual sense for creating attractive displays and maintaining brand standards.
- Relevant experience in retail merchandising, preferably in jewellery, fashion, or luxury goods.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Comfort with on-site work in Mumbai and flexibility to visit stores, showrooms, and vendors as needed.
