Role Description The Java Team Lead role at WebBee Global is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. This role is responsible for leading a team of Java developers, overseeing the design and implementation of scalable, secure software solutions that power WebBee Global’s eCommerce and integration products. Day-to-day activities include reviewing technical requirements, defining architecture, guiding the development of microservices-based applications, and applying design patterns to ensure maintainable code.

The Java Team

Lead will conduct code reviews, mentor team members, coordinate with product and QA teams,



and support the resolution of complex technical issues in production and pre-production environments. The role also involves contributing to technical roadmaps, improving development processes, and ensuring adherence to best practices, performance standards, and security guidelines.

Qualifications

- Strong Software Development skills with experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring boot/ Spring MVC, including modern frameworks and libraries commonly used in enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture, including design, development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Demonstrated Team Leadership capabilities, including mentoring, task allocation, and performance feedback.
- Solid understanding and practical use of Design Patterns to produce maintainable and extensible code.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and integration with third-party services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in eCommerce, SaaS products, or ERP/NetSuite integrations is a plus.
