CACTUS is a remote-first organization and we embrace an accelerate from anywhere culture. You may be required to travel to our Mumbai office based on business requirements or for company/team events.

The Editage team is looking for a Product Design Intern to work on our websites and CRM dashboard. You’ll gain hands-on experience in web, UI/UX, and visual design, including creating graphical abstracts and other digital assets for academic and research audiences. This 6-month internship offers an opportunity to learn, collaborate with experienced designers, and contribute to impactful digital experiences.

Note: Candidates based in Mumbai will be preferred.

Responsibilities

- Assist team with design tasks, contributing to various stages of the design process.
- Learn and master design tools and software to enhance your skill set.
- Execute simple design projects under the supervision of experienced designers.
- Support the design team in creating and improving user experiences across Editage websites and CRM platforms.
- Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create, edit, and refine graphics and visual assets.

Qualifications and Prerequisites

- Proficiency in Figma, with a willingness to expand knowledge and capabilities.

- Proficiency in Adobe illustrator and photoshop.

- Design Portfolio is mandatory.

- Understanding of design principles, including typography, colour theory, and layout

- Eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
