Role Overview

We’re looking for an Interior Designer to join the Copper Trunk team someone detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn.

This role involves supporting the design team across all stages of a project, from concept development to documentation. The focus is on building a solid foundation in design thinking, attention to detail, and clarity in execution.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, and presentations

Support in space planning and layout development

Work on drawings including plans, elevations, and detailing

Research materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting options

Coordinate with senior designers to ensure design intent is maintained

Maintain organised documentation and drawing sets

Assist with site visits when required

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in interior design or architecture





Basic understanding of materials, finishes, and spatial planning

Proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.)

Good visual sense and attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and work within defined timelines

Willingness to learn and take feedback constructively
