Role Description The Interim CTO role at mmverse is a full-time, hybrid position based in Ahmedabad, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Interim CTO will oversee end-to-end technology strategy and execution, guiding software development teams, defining architecture standards, and ensuring that products are secure, scalable, and maintainable. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading technical planning, reviewing and refining product roadmaps, coordinating cross-functional project delivery, and mentoring engineering leaders and individual contributors.

The role involves aligning IT strategy with business objectives, setting and tracking technical KPIs, managing technology budgets and vendor relationships, and driving continuous improvement in development processes and tools.



The Interim CTO will collaborate closely with the founding team and product leadership to translate business priorities into actionable technical initiatives and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Software Development and Product Development, with experience delivering production-grade applications and platforms.
- Expertise in IT Strategy and Architecture, including designing scalable systems, selecting appropriate technologies, and setting technical standards.
- Proven Project Management experience, overseeing multiple initiatives, managing timelines and resources, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership in building, leading, and mentoring technical teams, including hiring, performance management, and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Experience with modern development practices (e.g., agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure) and strong understanding of security and compliance considerations.
- Ability to translate business goals into technical plans, communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, and make data-informed decisions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in a senior technology leadership role (e.g., CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Technology) in a product-led or startup environment is highly beneficial.
