Industrial Designer – Medical Simulation & Portable Devices

About ONE Simulation

ONE Simulation is building the next generation of healthcare simulation and medical training technologies, high-fidelity mannequins and technology-enabled training platforms.

We are looking for an #Industrial Designer who can turn clinical and engineering requirements into functional, ergonomic, portable and manufacturable products.

The Role

You will lead the industrial and product design of our next generation of medical simulators and portable healthcare devices, taking products from concept → CAD → prototype → testing → manufacturing.

A key focus of this role will be designing products that are compact, lightweight, modular, easy to transport and quick to deploy for hospitals, medical colleges, simulation centres and workshops.

What You'll Do

- Develop industrial/product design concepts for medical simulators and portable devices.
- Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, product surfaces and manufacturing drawings.
- Design compact and portable product architectures, enclosures and mechanical interfaces.
- Develop prototypes using various printing processes.
- Apply ergonomics, human-centred design and usability principles.
- Work with mechanical, electronics, software and clinical teams.
- Translate clinician requirements into practical product designs.
- Design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
- Work with manufacturing partners to take designs from prototype to production.
- Continuously improve products based on user and clinical feedback.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design,



Mechanical Design or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial/product design.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, Creo or equivalent CAD tools.
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes and mechanical assemblies.
- Experience with rapid prototyping and physical product development.
- Valuable understanding of ergonomics and human factors.
- Ability to take ownership of a product from concept through production.
- Strong problem-solving and visualisation skills.
