Zensar Technologies is a leading digital solutions and technology services company, helping global enterprises accelerate their digital transformation journey. We are looking for a dynamic and business-focused Legal Counsel to join our growing Legal Team in India.

Role Overview The Legal Counsel will play a key role in supporting Zensar's commercial and business operations by drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of technology and commercial agreements. The role requires a commercially minded legal professional who can effectively partner with internal stakeholders and provide pragmatic legal solutions in a fast-paced technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts with customers, partners, and vendors.
- Support contract negotiations for:
- Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
- Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- SaaS and Software Licensing Agreements
- Strategic Partnership Agreements
- Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
- Vendor and Subcontractor Agreements
- Consulting and Professional Services Agreements
- Provide timely and practical legal advice on contractual, commercial, operational, and compliance-related matters.
- Identify and mitigate legal and business risks while enabling commercial objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, Delivery, HR, Finance, Information Security, and Leadership teams.
- Support privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance initiatives.




- Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard legal processes.
- Manage contract lifecycle activities and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist in dispute resolution and handling legal notices, claims, and escalations when required.

Required Qualifications

- LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.
- 3 - 8 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Excellent understanding of contract law and commercial legal principles.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in IT Services, Technology, SaaS, or Software Contracting.
- Knowledge of data privacy and data protection regulations.
- Familiarity with global contracting frameworks and international commercial agreements.
- Experience working with multinational clients and cross-border transactions.
