HR Path is looking for an experienced and highly motivated IAM SailPoint IdentityIQ Specialist to join our Cybersecurity and Identity Governance team in Bengaluru, India.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong hands-on experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ, identity governance, access management, provisioning, and IAM operations.
The selected candidate will play an significant role in operating, maintaining, and improving the IAM platform in a production environment while working closely with global teams, including stakeholders based in France.
The position requires a combination of strong technical expertise, operational discipline, security awareness, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
About the Role
As an IAM SailPoint IdentityIQ Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the operational stability, security configuration, health monitoring, and continuous improvement of the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform. You will also support IAM-related security incidents, application connector onboarding, operational documentation, and change management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, administer, and maintain the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform in production environments.
- Collaborate with IAM and cybersecurity resources based in France to ensure service continuity, operational alignment, and effective knowledge sharing.
- Ensure IAM tools are properly configured, updated, documented, and aligned with internal security standards and best practices.
- Monitor IAM platform health, performance, provisioning coverage, and operational stability to proactively identify issues and gaps.
- Participate in change management activities related to IAM development, including upgrades, policy updates,
workflow enhancements,
and new feature implementation.
- Adjust IAM security configurations based on user incidents, operational needs, access governance requirements,
and security observations.
- Support SOC teams during containment, eradication, and recovery activities for identity, access, and user-related security incidents.
- Contribute to post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, lessons learned, and continuous improvement plans.
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, standard operating procedures, support guides, and configuration references for IAM operations.
- Support onboarding of new connectors, applications, IAM integrations, and platform features from an operational readiness perspective.
Required Technical Skills
- Minimum 6 years of practical experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ architecture, configuration, administration, and operational support.
- Strong proficiency in Java, BeanShell, XML, SailPoint rules, approval workflows, lifecycle events, and custom logic implementation.
- Experience with SCIM-based provisioning, identity lifecycle management, application integrations, and IAM connector onboarding.
- Solid understanding of IAM, Identity Governance and Administration, Role-Based Access Control, access governance, and least privilege principles.
- Familiarity with security, audit, compliance, access review, and operational control requirements in enterprise environments.
Operational Skills
- Experience working in security operations, IAM operations, or run support teams.
- Ability to follow, maintain, and improve operational processes, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Comfortable working in an international and follow-the-sun operational context when required.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, service reliability, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to support incident response activities and contribute to operational improvement after security events
