This is a specialist role. If you describe yourself as a generalist, this isn't for you.
We're not looking for someone who does a bit of design, a bit of video, a bit of social strategy. We're looking for someone who builds graphics — ad statics and marketing assets — to a brief, at volume, better than anyone else we can find.
One craft. Done properly.
What the work is
We run paid acquisition for around 20 clients across iGaming, finance, supplements, streaming, energy and telehealth. Every one of them needs static ads in their own language, to a locked brief, on a fixed date. Alongside that, we publish case studies, result posts and testimonials that need designing every week.
A brief lands in Asana. It has a blueprint showing where each element sits, a copy sheet with the exact words, a brand block with the exact hex codes and mandated font, and a blacklist of things that must never appear. You build the 4:5 master at 1080×1350. Once it's approved you re-stack it to 9:16 at 1080×1920 — rebuilding the layout for the taller canvas, not cropping it.
Then you do that five more times, and the batch ships in three working days.
The parts people find hard
- The copy is often in a language you don't speak — German, Italian, Turkish, Spanish, Arabic, Dutch. You set it verbatim. You don't "fix" it.
- The blacklists are specific and real.
No "free". No broadcaster or league names. No guarantees. No drawn CTA buttons. No URLs or QR codes.
- When a brief contradicts itself, the right move is to comment in Asana and stop. Not guess. Not email the client.
- When we ask you to remove an element, we need that element removed and nothing recent added in its place.
What this role is not
Not brand identity. Not video. Not creative strategy. Not landing pages. The layout, palette, typeface and copy arrive locked, and your craft shows up in execution — spacing, hierarchy, compositing, how the 9:16 reads on a phone. If you need latitude over those decisions to enjoy your work, you'll be unhappy here.
What you need
- A portfolio of ad statics and marketing assets built to spec — not posters, not brand books. We want the same concept shown in 4:5 and 9:16.
- Figma, fluently. Components and auto-layout, not flattened one-offs.
- Comfort with AI image generation for backgrounds and bases.
We'll teach the workflow; we can't teach the eye.
- A track record of hitting dates without being chased.
Process
Screening questions → portfolio review → a 3–5 minute screen recording of you walking through one of your own build files → a paid trial task → a call.
