This role blends fundamental equity research with quantitative/systematic methods. You will also conduct light manager due diligence on fund vehicles (ETFs, mutual funds, hedge funds) for direct security selection.The ideal candidate brings rigorous process discipline from a quantitative hedge fund, asset manager, or institutional research desk, and knows how to adapt it to a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

- Idea Generation: Conduct fundamental and quantitative research on US and global equities; independently maintain an active coverage list and idea pipeline.
- Advanced Financial Modeling: Build and maintain DCF models, comparables, and scenario/sensitivity analyses for individual securities and sectors.
- Quantitative Screening: Apply quantitative techniques (factor screening, backtesting, portfolio optimization)



to support security selection.
- Fund Due Diligence: Track and evaluate third-party fund vehicles (ETFs, mutual funds, hedge funds) relevant to the family offices public markets exposure.
- Macro &
- Thematic Strategy: Monitor macroeconomic developments and sector rotations, translating them into actionable investment views.
- Concise Reporting: Prepare high-quality investment notes, research memos, and recommendations tailored for a non-analyst principal audience.
- Data Utilization: Leverage top-tier platforms (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, Visible Alpha) for data gathering and analysis.Candidate Qualifications (Must-Haves):
- Mandatory Certification: You must have cleared CFA Level III (Charterholders strongly preferred).
- Target Experience: 3 to 5 years of direct experience in equity research, portfolio management, or quantitative/systematic investing.
- Asset Class Focus: Proven background in Public Markets (US &
- Global Equities).

Note: Private Equity/M&A; candidates will not be considered.

- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and strong working knowledge of the fund ecosystem.
- Structured Products: Knowledge of structured notes (e.g., FCNs, Phoenix autocallables, accumulators/decumulators) and their risk profiles is a distinct advantage.
