Role Overview :

As a Workday Finance Functional Consultant, you will serve as a critical bridge between complex business requirements and robust technical solutions. You will lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday Financial Management modules, ensuring that our clients' accounting and finance operations are streamlined, compliant, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure Workday Financials modules including Core Accounting, Business Assets, Expenses, and Procurement to align with client-specific business processes and reporting requirements.
- Lead requirement gathering workshops with finance stakeholders to document functional specifications and ensure the solution addresses critical accounting challenges.
- Manage the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, from initial discovery and design to testing, data migration, and post-production support, ensuring timely project delivery.
- Partner with technical integration teams to design and validate complex financial integrations, ensuring seamless data flow between Workday and legacy third-party systems.




- Provide expert guidance on Workday best practices to optimize financial operations, improve internal controls, and enhance the overall user experience for finance teams.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrate deep functional expertise in Workday Financials, with a proven ability to map complex accounting structures and financial hierarchies into the Workday ecosystem.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot configuration issues and provide innovative solutions during the ERP implementation lifecycle.
- Communicate complex financial and technical concepts effectively to both executive stakeholders and technical team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Possess a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, complemented by a solid understanding of global accounting standards and financial reporting practices.
- Thrive in a distributed work workplace, maintaining high levels of productivity and proactive communication while working across multiple locations or remotely.
