Fulls Stack Java Developer – Senior Developer

Location: Gurugram, India(Weekly 4 Days office)

Summary

As Fullstack Java Developer, you will contribute to the development of our next-generation platform for configuring and adapting banknote-processing systems used worldwide. Together with the development team in India and the architecture team in Munich, you will implement high-quality backend and frontend components using Java Spring Boot, Angular, Docker, and Microsoft Azure.

In this role, you will work in a collaborative, cross-site Scrum team and help shape a modern, scalable, and secure application landscape. You will actively participate in design discussions, implement new features, ensure code quality through testing and reviews, and support the integration of backend, frontend, and database components.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement high-quality Java Spring Boot services and Angular frontend components
- Contribute to the design and development of fullstack features that integrate backend, frontend, and database systems
- Ensure robust database persistence using PostgreSQL and participate in performance optimization
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma)
- Work closely with the lead architect in Munich and senior engineers in India to translate architecture concepts into clean, maintainable code
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives)
- Collaborate with testers, support teams,



and business analysts to ensure functional and technical quality
- Follow coding standards, contribute to code reviews, and ensure maintainability and reliability
- Support continuous improvement of development processes, automation, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments
- Contribute to proof-of-concepts for evaluating new technologies (e.g., Docker, cloud services, image processing and machine learning)
- Support containerization and deployment using Docker and Microsoft Azure

Job Specifications

Qualification

B. Tech or Bachelor’s in computer science or any other relevant field (Required)

M. Tech or Master’s in any other relevant field (Preferred)

7+ years of experience

Professional software development experience (7+ years) using Spring and Angular (5+ years)

Required Skills

- Solid experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security
- Professional experience with Angular (TypeScript)
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
- Experience with Docker, containerization, and cloud deployments (Azure preferred)
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for distributed systems
- Valuable understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in international teams (India & Germany)
