About TWS

TWS (The Web Studio) is a digital product studio building high-performance websites, scalable web platforms, and custom software products for businesses.

We are looking for a Frontend Developer who can turn designs and product requirements into clean, responsive, production-ready web interfaces.

Role

As a Frontend Developer at TWS, you will work closely with our backend developers, designers, and project leads to build and maintain modern web applications and websites.

You will be involved in real client projects as well as internal products, so we are looking for someone who cares about code quality, UI accuracy, performance, and user experience.

Responsibilities

- Build responsive and reusable frontend components.
- Convert Figma/UI designs into accurate web interfaces.
- Develop pages and features using React.js.
- Work with REST APIs and integrate backend services.
- Manage application state and frontend data flow appropriately.
- Ensure responsive behavior across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Write clean, maintainable and reusable code.
- Debug frontend issues and fix UI/functional bugs.
- Work with Git and follow proper branching and collaboration practices.
- Collaborate with backend developers and designers.
- Test features before submitting them for QA.
- Participate in code reviews and improve existing implementations.
- Optimize frontend performance, accessibility, and usability where required.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Practical experience with React.js.
- Understanding of React components, hooks, props, state,



and routing.
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Positive understanding of responsive web design.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Ability to understand Figma designs and implement them accurately.
- Basic understanding of frontend performance and browser debugging.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS.
- Familiarity with React Router.
- Experience with animation libraries such as Framer Motion.
- Basic understanding of authentication and JWT-based APIs.
- Experience deploying frontend applications using platforms such as Vercel, Netlify, or similar.
- Previous experience working on real-world/client projects.

What We Expect We are not looking only for someone who can write React code.

You should be able to:

- Understand a requirement before starting development.
- Break a UI into reusable components.
- Consume APIs correctly rather than hardcoding data.
- Handle loading, empty, error, and success states.
- Write code that another developer can understand and maintain.
- Test your work before marking a task as completed.
- Communicate blockers clearly.
- Take ownership of assigned features.

Experience 0–2 years of professional experience.

Freshers with strong React projects and a good understanding of frontend fundamentals are welcome to apply.

Compensation

₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month, based on technical skills, experience, and interview performance.

Location

Kozhikode, Kerala

This is an on-site position. Candidates who can work from our Kozhikode location are preferred.
