About Juniper Outdoor

Juniper Outdoor is a premium adventure and experiential travel company creating highly curated journeys across India and the world. From the Himalayas and wildlife to international adventure destinations, we tell stories through people, places, culture and the outdoors.

We are looking for a Video Editor & Content Creator to join our creative team and help bring these journeys to life through compelling video.

The Role

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being behind the camera as much as behind the editing desk.

You will work across Juniper's ongoing campaigns, travel shoots, social media content and brand projects—from planning and shooting content in the field to editing polished films and short-form social content.

What You'll Do

- Shoot high-quality video content for Juniper's campaigns, trips, destinations and social media.
- Travel with Juniper teams on selected shoots and experiences.
- Plan shots, sequences and visual storytelling before and during shoots.
- Edit short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other platforms.
- Edit longer-form destination films, campaign films and travel stories.
- Create engaging cuts using music, sound design, transitions, colour grading and motion graphics.
- Work with the creative and marketing teams to develop concepts and storyboards.
- Repurpose longer footage into multiple pieces of social content.
- Organise and manage video footage, project files and digital assets.
- Stay updated on emerging video formats, editing trends and social media storytelling.
- Occasionally assist with photography and other content production when required.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has a strong visual eye and a genuine interest in travel, adventure and storytelling.

You should have

- 2–5 years of experience in video editing and/or content production.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.




- Experience shooting with professional cameras, mirrorless cameras or cinema equipment.
- A good understanding of composition, lighting, framing and movement.
- Strong knowledge of social-first video formats.
- An understanding of colour grading and sound design.
- The ability to work independently from concept through to final edit.
- A willingness to travel for shoots.
- Strong attention to detail and an instinct for storytelling.

Bonus Points

- Experience in travel, outdoor, adventure, luxury, hospitality or lifestyle content.
- Experience with drones and/or action cameras.
- Basic motion graphics and After Effects skills.
- Photography skills.
- Experience creating content specifically for Instagram and YouTube.
- A personal interest in the outdoors, travel, adventure or exploration.

The Kind of Person We're Looking For

This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit at a desk and edit footage handed to them.

We want someone who is curious, energetic and comfortable in the field—someone who can hike into a location with a camera, find the story, capture it beautifully and then sit down and turn the footage into something people want to watch.

You should be comfortable working in unpredictable environments, travelling frequently and figuring things out as you go.

Most importantly, you should have a point of view. We aren't looking for someone who simply knows how to operate editing software—we're looking for someone who understands why a shot works, how a story should feel and how to make people want to experience the places we showcase.
