Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Facility Manager with 10 years of experience in large-site facility, engineering, maintenance and utility operations. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge and proven experience independently managing large sites, teams of technicians and engineers, utilities, EHS, maintenance activities and site administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage large facility/site operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Lead and manage teams of technicians and engineers, including manpower planning and shift scheduling.
- Define and monitor skill metrics, KPIs and team performance.
- Manage operation and maintenance of rotary equipment, including:
- Pumps
- Motors
- Compressors
- Manage utility systems, including:
- AHU
- Chillers
- Air Compressors
- Water
- Air
- Steam
- Coordinate maintenance activities for HT/LT systems, transformers, DGs, UPS and associated electrical infrastructure.
- Possess basic knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation systems.
- Technically address issues related to Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation systems.
- Oversee operation and maintenance of utilities and EHS equipment.
- Handle administrative aspects of overall site management.
- Ensure adherence to contract parameters, site protocols and service requirements.
- Ensure all basic utility facilities are maintained and available as per operational requirements.
- Ensure facility operations comply with applicable government regulations, health, safety and security standards.
- Prepare and submit daily,



weekly and monthly MIS reports as per GIL format within agreed timelines.
- Submit CAPA within 3 days of incident reporting.
- Track and regularly update CAPA action points until closure.
- Drive the objective of Zero Safety Incidents at the site.
- Conduct monthly Reward & Recognition activities for the team.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement and Kaizen.
- Ensure implementation of at least one Kaizen per employee per quarter.
- Ensure 5S standards are maintained across workplace and office areas.
- Prepare shift schedules in consultation with GIL and ensure adherence.
- Ensure compliance with all site-related protocols and procedures.
- Identify and implement best practices followed by other sites.
- Ensure availability of all necessary tools and equipment for preventive and corrective maintenance.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a B.Tech Mechanical/Electrical professional with 10 years of relevant experience, preferably from Pharma, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Refinery, Heavy Engineering or Manufacturing industries. The candidate must have strong technical expertise, large-site management experience and the ability to independently lead multidisciplinary teams while ensuring safety, compliance and operational excellence.

Salary: Up to ₹75,000 Gross/Month

Location: Rangpo, Sikkim

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
