Role Description

This is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Fabrication Supervisor.

The Fabrication

Supervisor will oversee daily fabrication operations, including planning and coordinating production activities, assigning tasks, and monitoring workflow to meet quality and delivery targets. The role involves supervising fabrication teams, providing hands-on guidance in welding and related processes, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards. The supervisor will inspect work at various stages to maintain rigorous quality control, troubleshoot fabrication issues,



and collaborate with management and other departments to optimize productivity. The role also includes training and upskilling team members, maintaining fabrication documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in processes and equipment utilization.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, and workforce coordination.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control capabilities, including inspection, defect identification, and adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Candidates should possess Production Planning skills, such as scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
- Candidates should possess Welding knowledge and hands-on experience with common fabrication techniques and safety practices.
- Candidates should possess Training skills, including the ability to coach, mentor, and develop fabrication staff.
- Relevant experience in fabrication or manufacturing, preferably in metalwork, or precision components.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, shop-floor practices, and equipment handling.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience using production documentation, basic computer tools, and reporting systems.
