Role Description The English & Chemistry Teacher will deliver engaging classroom instruction aligned with CBSE curriculum standards and the academy’s competitive exam objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include lesson planning, teaching theory and application in English and Chemistry, preparing students for school examinations and relevant entrance tests, and maintaining accurate academic records. The teacher will assess learning through assignments, tests, and practical work, provide constructive feedback, and support remedial sessions for learners needing additional guidance.

Collaboration with other faculty to coordinate interdisciplinary activities, participate in faculty meetings,



and contribute to co-curricular programs is expected. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Abhyaas Defence Academy in Jammu, requiring active presence in the classroom, laboratories, and wider campus.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in English and Chemistry, with the ability to teach CBSE-level content clearly and accurately.
- Skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment to support both school and competitive exam preparation.
- Ability to guide laboratory work in Chemistry, ensuring safety, proper use of equipment, and effective demonstration of core concepts.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, with strong communication skills for explaining complex ideas and mentoring diverse learners.
- Comfort with basic educational technology, including digital teaching aids, online resources, and maintaining electronic records.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Chemistry, or Education (B.Ed preferred), from a recognized institution.
