Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role depending on site, focused on renewable energy (RE) projects with expertise in 33 kV to 220 kV transmission lines.

The Electrical

Engineer will design, review, and optimize electrical systems for transmission and power evacuation in solar, wind, and related projects. The role includes preparing and checking technical drawings, specifications, and calculations, and coordinating with design consultants, EPC contractors, and client teams. Day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing installation and commissioning activities, conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and resolving technical issues during project execution.

The engineer will also support project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessments,



while contributing to continuous improvement and safety practices across project sites.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of Electricity fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess experience in Electrical Design related to 33 kV to 220 kV transmission lines and associated equipment.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Power Systems, including grid integration, protection schemes, and system stability in RE projects.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Power Distribution, including substation layouts, cabling, and switchgear selection.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in transmission line or substation projects, preferably in solar or wind energy.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with national and international electrical standards, safety regulations, and utility requirements.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP or similar power system analysis tools) is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required and adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
