Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the complete yarn and fibre dyeing operations to ensure timely production as per manufacturing plans.
- Take full responsibility for yarn and fibre dyeing processes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and productivity.
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily dyeing schedules to meet production targets and customer delivery timelines.
- Ensure consistent shade matching and color accuracy as per approved standards and customer specifications.
- Supervise and optimize various dyeing processes, including:
- Yarn Dyeing
- Reactive Dyeing
- Bamboo & PMF Dyeing
- Cold Vat Dyeing
- Polyester Dyeing
- Nylon Dyeing
- Viscose Dyeing
- Tencel Dyeing
- Excel Fibre Dyeing
- Monitor dyeing parameters, chemical consumption, process controls, and batch records to achieve consistent quality.
- Ensure optimum utilization of dyes, chemicals, water, steam, and other production resources while minimizing wastage.
- Coordinate with Planning, Production, Quality, Stores, Procurement, and Maintenance teams for smooth operational flow.
- Monitor machine efficiency, productivity, and capacity utilization to maximize operational performance.




- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, safety regulations, and environmental compliance during dyeing operations.
- Investigate dyeing defects, shade variations, and process deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve first-pass quality.
- Maintain production reports, dye consumption reports, productivity reports, rejection analysis, and operational documentation.
- Train, guide, and develop dyeing supervisors, operators, and technicians to improve technical capabilities and operational discipline.
- Coordinate with the R&D; and Product Development teams for new shade developments and process improvements.
- Support new product developments by conducting dye trials and ensuring successful bulk production implementation.

- Good understanding of production planning and productivity improvement techniques.
- Experience in quality control, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Qualification

- B.Tech / B.E. in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, Dyeing Technology, or a related discipline.

Experience

- 5–8 years of relevant experience in yarn and fibre dyeing operations within the Carpet, Textile, Home Furnishing, or Yarn Manufacturing industry.

Preferred Candidate

- Proven experience in managing complete dyeing operations with responsibility for productivity, quality, and delivery.
- Strong expertise in Reactive, Cold Vat, Polyester, Nylon, Viscose, Bamboo, PMF, Tencel, and Excel fibre dyeing.
- Experience in shade development, color consistency, and process standardization.
- Strong knowledge of dye house operations, chemical management, and production planning.
- Ability to lead teams and drive operational excellence.
- Hands-on experience in reducing process losses, improving productivity, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production reporting.
