Role Description The Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings, plans, and layouts based on concepts and instructions from architects and designers. Day-to-day tasks include developing 2D and 3D drawings, updating plans according to design changes, and ensuring accuracy in dimensions, materials, and specifications. The role involves coordinating with project team members to maintain consistent documentation standards, organizing drawing sets for submissions, and supporting site-related documentation when required.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur,



requiring regular presence in the studio to collaborate closely with the design team and support ongoing projects.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in architectural drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software) and the ability to produce explicit, detailed technical drawings.
- Understanding of architectural standards, building plans, sections, elevations, and basic construction detailing.
- Ability to interpret design sketches and translate them into accurate digital drawings and documentation.
- Good organizational skills for managing multiple drawing sets, revising plans, and maintaining version control.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative work style to coordinate with architects, designers, and project teams on-site in Jaipur.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in drafting.
- Knowledge of local building practices and basic familiarity with building codes and regulations is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, reliability in meeting deadlines, and openness to learning new tools and methods in architectural design and documentation.
