The ideal candidate will have strong practical experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, JVM troubleshooting, and production environments.

This is a production support and DevOps-focused role, involving troubleshooting complex technical issues, analyzing application and infrastructure problems, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams, and providing timely solutions to customer and internal technical challenges.

Please note: This is not a Java Developer role. Candidates whose primary experience is Java application development without hands-on DevOps and production support experience will not be considered.

The role requires working in rotational shifts based on business and support requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support

- Troubleshoot Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform JVM troubleshooting and analysis using thread dumps, heap dumps, and garbage collection logs.
- Assist with complex setup, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of tools and environments.
- Recommend and implement DevOps and application support best practices.

Customer Engagement

- Respond to customer inquiries through ticketing systems, email, and occasionally phone for urgent issues.
- Understand customer technical challenges and provide effective, tailored solutions.
- Communicate technical issues and resolutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to technical documentation, FAQs,

and knowledge bases to enable customer self-service.

Collaboration & Automation

- Work closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to investigate, escalate, and resolve complex issues.
- Develop and enhance internal tools and scripts to automate diagnostics and improve support team efficiency.
- Participate in team scrums, technical discussions, and team-oriented problem-solving sessions.

Continuous Learning

- Stay current with evolving DevOps tools, cloud technologies, Java/JVM technologies, and software development practices.
- Continuously improve troubleshooting methodologies and technical knowledge.

Required Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in Java application troubleshooting and JVM analysis.
- Hands-on experience analyzing thread dumps, heap dumps, and garbage collector logs.
- 2+ years of experience in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Git.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a support-oriented environment and manage multiple technical issues based on priority.

Nice to Have

- Experience in Java development.
- Knowledge of LDAP, databases, and REST APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms and related technologies.
- Certifications in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or DevOps technologies.
- Open-source contributions or experience with the Jenkins community.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing technical support or application support role.

Work Environment & Requirements

- This is a full-time, support-oriented engineering role.
- The candidate must be comfortable working in a rotational shift environment, including shifts aligned with business/customer support requirements.
- The role requires flexibility to support critical technical issues and customer escalations when needed.
- An 18-month commitment is required for this role. Candidates should be comfortable committing to the organization for a minimum period of 18 months.
