About the role
We're looking for a design intern who is creative, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about leather and how it translates into design. You'll work directly with the founder, contributing to the design process from research through to execution.
This is a remote, paid internship for a duration of 6 months.
What you'll do
- Conduct market research within the handbags industry
- Track trends across the global and Indian bags and accessories market
- Sketch and develop designs for the new collection
- Create tech packs using Adobe Illustrator
- Support the design process from concept through final specifications
Who you are
- A recent design graduate or someone with prior experience in leather design or accessories design
- Strong understanding of leather as a material
- Brings original thinking to the design process
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
- Robust sketching and technical skills
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, able to work independently in a remote setting
- Open to feedback and genuinely interested in bags and accessories
