Position Summary

Level: Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members.

Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.

Work you'll do

As a Senior Consultant on the Detect & Respond team, you will be responsible for leading security operations center delivery activities and supporting incident response outcomes across client environments.

- Supervise day-to-day security operations center delivery activities for a 24x7 team of Security Analysts supporting multiple clients.
- Oversee security incident monitoring, identification, assessment, reporting, communication, and mitigation activities in line with client requirements.
- Manage service delivery by monitoring resource utilization, reviewing incident audits, and supporting service level agreement compliance, process adherence, and process improvement.
- Coordinate with Security Operations Center managers, shift leads, and cross-functional teams to support service delivery, major incident response, and operational issue resolution.
- Support analyst interviewing, training, skill assessment, certification maintenance, and stakeholder coordination while adhering to Deloitte operational security policies.

The team Deloitte’s Detect & Respond (D&R;) aims to combine sophisticated technologies and human intelligence to help the clients monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to known and unknown attacks. We help our clients to be secure, vigilant, and resilient in the face of an ever-increasing array of cyber threats and vulnerabilities. The Detect and Respond team delivers service to clients through following key areas:

- Threat detection and response
- Attack surface management
- Threat Intelligence
- Threat Hunting
- Data Protection

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai Shift Timings:



2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST, with flexibility required based on client expectations, engagement demands, and time zone coverage. Provide on-call and after-hours support for critical security incidents, escalations, and operational needs. Flexibility to collaborate with global teams across different time zones as required.

Qualifications

Required

- 7+ years of experience in information security or technology engineering support
- Experience with security technologies such as Security Information and Event Management, Intrusion Detection System/Intrusion Prevention System, Data Loss Prevention, proxy, Web Application Firewall, Endpoint Detection and Response, antivirus, sandboxing, firewalls, threat intelligence, or penetration testing
- Knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threat tactics, techniques, and procedures
- Knowledge of attack activities including network probing, scanning, distributed denial-of-service, and malicious code activity
- Knowledge of network infrastructure devices including routers and switches
- Knowledge of networking protocols including Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol, Domain Name System, and Hypertext Transfer Protocol
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, or Information Technology

Preferred
- Experience presenting security findings and remediation recommendations to clients or stakeholders
- Experience with threat analysis and enterprise mitigation strategies
- Experience analyzing malicious code behavior and technical vulnerability exploitation
- Experience with operating systems and networking technologies
- Experience with cyber threats, defensive controls, attacker motivations, and attack techniques
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional, GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst, GIAC Continuous Monitoring, Certified Ethical Hacker,
