Job Summary The Credit Manager - Secured Credit will be responsible for managing and evaluating credit risk for secured loan products within the Nizamabad region. This role involves assessing borrower creditworthiness, ensuring compliance with lending policies, and maintaining a healthy loan portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough credit assessments and financial analysis of loan applications for secured credit products (e.g., loans against property, gold loans, vehicle loans).
- Evaluate borrower repayment capacity, collateral value, and other relevant financial metrics to determine creditworthiness.
- Ensure all credit decisions comply with internal credit policies, regulatory guidelines, and risk appetite frameworks.
- Manage and monitor the existing secured loan portfolio, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Review and approve credit proposals within delegated authority limits.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to facilitate efficient loan processing and customer service.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance credit assessment efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present credit reports and analyses to senior management.
- Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions,



and regulatory changes impacting secured lending.
- Handle customer queries and resolve credit-related issues professionally.

Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant qualified certification (e.g., CA, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in credit management, with a strong focus on secured lending products.
- Proven track record of managing credit risk and maintaining a healthy loan portfolio.
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, credit appraisal techniques, and collateral valuation.
- Strong understanding of relevant regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements for secured lending in India.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and local language (Telugu/Hindi) is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in the Nizamabad region or a similar geographical market is an advantage.
