At Polygnan, we work with students who are trying things, building things, failing at things, and occasionally surprising themselves.

We’re looking for a Content & Creative Associate who can turn all of that into stories people actually want to read, watch, share, and remember.

You’ll be close to the action. You’ll talk to students, sit in on programmes, cover events, find interesting stories, write, shoot, design, experiment with formats, and help shape how Polygnan shows up online.

Basically, if you see a good story hiding in a messy Google Doc, a student conversation, or a random moment at an event, we want you.

What you'll actually do

- Find the stories

There are stories happening across Polygnan every day. Your job is to find them.

Talk to students, mentors, founders, partners, and our team to uncover interesting stories.

Turn student journeys, programme moments, experiments, failures, wins, and lessons into content.

Look beyond the obvious “X students completed Y programme” story and find the human bit underneath.Build a pipeline of stories and ideas worth telling.

- Make content people want to consume

You’ll create content across formats and platforms.

Write LinkedIn posts, Instagram content, blogs, newsletters, website copy, and more.

Turn one valuable story into multiple formats instead of starting from scratch every time.

Experiment with reels, carousels, short-form videos, memes, visual stories, interviews, and other formats. Understand that a LinkedIn post and an Instagram reel don't need to sound or look the same.

Keep an eye on what’s working and constantly improve.

- Help shape the Polygnan brand

We’re still building what Polygnan looks, sounds,



and feels like. You’ll help with that.

Develop content themes and campaigns around our programmes and larger mission.

Help build a consistent voice across our digital channels.

Spot opportunities to make Polygnan more recognisable and memorable.

Bring your own ideas instead of waiting for a brief for everything.

Experiment with new ways of communicating what we do.

- Get your hands dirty with video

You might

Come up with a reel idea.

Write a 30-second script.

Interview a student.

Shoot something on your phone.

Help coordinate a shoot.

Work with a designer, editor, photographer, or videographer.

Turn raw footage from an event into something people actually want to watch.

- Make boring things less boring

Reports, newsletters, presentations, programme updates, event collateral, website pages...

Yes, these things need to exist.

But they don't have to feel like they were written by a committee.

You'll help turn programme outcomes, data, learnings, and updates into communications that are clear, human, and actually enjoyable to read.

- Work with everyone

You'll work closely with our programme, community, operations, and leadership teams to understand what's happening across Polygnan and figure out how best to communicate it.

You'll also occasionally coordinate with external designers, photographers, editors, videographers, agencies,



and other creative partners.

You might be a great fit if...

You naturally notice interesting things and think, “there's a story here.”

You can write a thoughtful LinkedIn post one minute and a ridiculous-but-good Instagram caption the next.

You care about words, visuals, and how things feel.

You know that good content isn't just about looking pretty. It needs a point.

You have strong writing and editing skills.

You understand social media and are curious about why some content works and some doesn't.

You can use Canva confidently and have a decent eye for design.

You're comfortable picking up a phone and shooting a video when needed.

You can take a vague brief and turn it into something tangible.

You're comfortable working with different people and chasing information when you need it.

You can handle multiple things happening at once without completely losing track of them.

You're proactive. If something can be better, you don't wait for someone to tell you to fix it.

You care about education, students, entrepreneurship, or creating opportunities for young people.

Bonus points if...

You have a portfolio, personal page, newsletter, Instagram page, or anything else that shows how you think.

You’ll have a lot of room to experiment, but you'll also be expected to own the outcome.
