URGENT HIRING – CONSULTANT NEPHROLOGIST

POSITION

Consultant Nephrologist

QUALIFICATION

- DM Nephrology

OR

- DrNB Nephrology
- Valid NMC / Uttar Pradesh Medical Council Registration

EXPERIENCE

- Experienced candidates preferred
- Candidates with strong hands-on experience in Nephrology and Dialysis will be given preference

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct Nephrology OPD consultations and manage IPD patients
- Diagnose and manage CKD, AKI, hypertension, proteinuria, haematuria, glomerular diseases and electrolyte/acid-base disorders
- Manage patients requiring Hemodialysis and other renal replacement therapies
- Supervise dialysis services and manage dialysis-related complications
- Provide nephrology consultation for ICU and critically ill patients
- Manage AKI, sepsis-related renal complications, fluid overload and electrolyte emergencies
- Assess and plan dialysis vascular access in coordination with relevant specialists
- Perform nephrology procedures as per expertise and credentialing
- Coordinate with Intensivists, Cardiologists, Urologists, Endocrinologists and other specialists




- Provide counselling to patients and families regarding renal disease, dialysis, diet and long-term management
- Maintain accurate clinical records, prescriptions and discharge documentation
- Follow NABH, NMC, infection-control and patient-safety protocols

SKILLS REQUIRED

- Strong clinical expertise in Nephrology
- Excellent knowledge of CKD, AKI and Dialysis management
- Critical Care Nephrology experience will be an advantage
- Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills
- Excellent patient counselling and communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
