HCA Healthcare is hiring a Consultant - AI Engineer to help build and productionize Agentic AI solutions for healthcare. The role focuses on scalable, reliable, secure, and responsible AI systems that improve workflows and patient care.

Location: India

Experience

- 6-8 years of software development experience
- 2+ years in AI/ML focused on Agentic AI

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, data science or related field

Responsibilities

- Contribute to technical design, development, and implementation of AI-powered applications and services with a focus on Agentic AI
- Develop and test AI agents, prompt flows, API services, tool integrations, and workflow automations
- Translate product requirements and user stories into technical specifications and development tasks
- Design, develop, and deploy AI agents to automate tasks, improve decision-making, and enhance user experience
- Integrate AI agents into existing systems and workflows
- Support the implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure AI infrastructure components
- Troubleshoot defects, integration issues, model behavior concerns, and production support items
- Evaluate and prototype emerging AI technologies and frameworks
- Work with senior consultants,



technical product managers, and other stakeholders
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration across HCA business functions, IT, and enterprise product teams
- Apply responsible and ethical AI practices including guardrails, evaluation checks, and human-in-the-loop considerations
- Participate in code reviews, team discussions, documentation, and Agile ceremonies

Additional Responsibilities

- Participate in knowledge sharing with team members to foster learning and innovation in Agentic AI
- Follow engineering best practices for development process, including coding standards, testing protocols, and deployment procedures
- Stay current with advancements in AI and Agentic AI and continuously build technical capability
- Practices and adheres to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement
- Typical work hours can vary depending on workload and project deliverables
- Performs other duties as assigned

Nice To Have

- Master’s degree in computer science engineering, data science or related field
- Experience in AI/ML, Gen AI, and LLM applications
- Experience in APIs, automation, data engineering, cloud engineering, or related technical field
- Certifications in AI/ML, Agentic AI, Gen AI, responsible AI,



or cloud-native development
