Overview Job Summary The Credit Portfolio Analyst II is an intermediate-level position focused on conducting credit reviews, approving credit, and monitoring the portfolio to identify credit migration. This role coordinates closely with the Risk Management team. The primary objective is to manage Citi's exposure to clients and counterparties globally.

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct risk assessments and client credit analyses under supervision.
- Review financial results and peer analyses to support the preparation of financial projections.
- Assist in preparing green-light and transaction approval memos.
- Support due diligence activities and the development of cash flow models and sensitivity analyses.
- Escalate credit concerns and provide updates to senior risk and business managers.
- Support the proposal of risk mitigation actions by staying informed of portfolio and industry developments, and by understanding credit processes, policies, and Citi's risk appetite.
- Assist with portfolio review preparation and the conduct of stress tests.
- Build working relationships with various teams across the bank, including deal, coverage, and product teams.
- Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
- Support compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Provide input into the risk analysis of tools used to monitor Credit Risk Exposure.
- Assist in assessing collateral risk and stress testing.
- Assist in preparing risk review materials for proactive risk management and presentation to internal stakeholders.
- Assist in monitoring credit portfolio limits to ensure compliance with risk appetite limits.
