Software Developer / Senior Software Engineer (.NET Core & Microservices)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable, high-quality enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET technologies, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design discussions, and solution reviews.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications using .NET technologies.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and product owners to deliver business requirements.
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and support UAT activities.
- Participate in software release activities and production support.
- Follow Agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical innovation.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of software development experience.




- Strong hands-on experience with:
- .NET Core 6+ / .NET 8
- C#
- ASP.NET Core Web API
- SQL Server
- Microservices Architecture
- RESTful Services
- Entity Framework Core

- Experience with Azure Cloud Services, including:

- Azure App Services
- Azure Functions
- Azure Storage
- Azure Service Bus/Event Grid
- Azure DevOps

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of messaging/event-driven platforms such as Kafka.
- Experience with HTML5, XML, JSON, and up-to-date web technologies.
- Understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and secure coding practices.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Financial Services/BFSI domain.
- Exposure to Java and Spring Boot-based applications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud-native application development and distributed systems.

Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
