Role Description The Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports MAHTO’s integrated home building ecosystem. This full time, in office role in Bangalore Urban involves building scalable and secure cloud environments, automating deployments, and monitoring system performance and reliability. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing infrastructure as code, managing Linux-based servers, optimizing database usage,



and collaborating with software development teams to ensure smooth integration between applications and cloud services.

The Cloud

Engineer will also contribute to security best practices, incident response, and continuous improvement of the platform’s resilience and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Software Development skills, including experience with modern programming languages and APIs.
- Candidates should possess Infrastructure-related skills, such as infrastructure as code, networking fundamentals, and system monitoring.
- Candidates should possess Cloud Computing skills, including hands-on work with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native services.
- Candidates should possess Linux skills, including administration, shell scripting, and performance tuning.
- Candidates should possess Databases skills, including relational and/or NoSQL database management, optimization, and backup strategies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and security best practices is highly beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
