About Zarity
Zarity is building recovery care in India. The months after a hospital discharge are when most outcomes are won or lost, and almost nobody is managing that stretch. We do.
We look after patients with chronic and post-surgical conditions: gut disorders, metabolic syndrome, cancer. Doctors, physiotherapists and clinical nutritionists work off one shared plan, so recovery is actually managed rather than handed over as advice. We see patients online and in Bengaluru, and we are expanding now.
About The Role
At Zarity, clinical nutrition is a primary care function. You are the lead provider on your patients, not the person a doctor loops in at the end.You would run tracks like oncology rehabilitation, gastrointestinal disorders (IBS, Crohn's, ulcerative colitis) and metabolic recovery, coordinating directly with Internal Medicine and Physiotherapy on a shared clinical platform. The patients are complex and usually managing more than one condition at once.
You stay with them across the full arc of their recovery, not a single consult.
If you have been waiting for a place that takes nutrition as seriously as it takes medicine, and hands you real clinical ownership, this is that role.
What You Need
- MSc in Clinical Nutrition
- 3+ years as a clinical nutritionist, in a hospital or an equivalent online setup
- Solid in-patient nutrition management experience for the conditions above
- Able to start within a month of an offer
- Comfortable consulting in English and Hindi
- Based in Bengaluru, or ready to move. This is a hybrid role, with clinic days and work-from-home days each week.
Your Setup At Home
We are a technology-first team,
and on work-from-home days you are seeing patients over video. That makes your setup part of the job, for us and for them.
- A quiet, dedicated workspace with a proper desk. Patients should see a clinical environment, not a living room.
- Internet you can rely on for video consults
- A working laptop with a decent camera and clear audio
- Comfort with tools like Slack and Google Workspace. You do not need to be an expert, you need to pick them up fast.
What we're looking for
- A deep working knowledge of medical nutrition therapy
- Hands-on experience with enteral (tube) feeding, IBS, Crohn's, ulcerative colitis and oncology nutrition
- A sound grasp of nutritive value estimation and blood biomarkers
- Clear writing and speaking in both English and Hindi. You will be writing a lot of it down.
- A real feel for behaviour change: emotional intelligence, positive psychology, how people actually stay with a plan
- Someone self-driven. This is a startup, a lot is still ambiguous, and nobody will hand-hold you through it.
What you'll do:
- Consult with patients, in person and online
- Design and manage each patient's dietary journey end to end
- Read deeply, and keep up with what is actually moving in clinical nutrition
- Build our nutrition databases, and work with the tech team on the tools you use every day
- Keep your clinical notes structured and thorough
Nice To Have:
- Hospital experience, with real exposure to oncology
- Registered Dietitian licence
- IAPEN membership
- A research-driven mind, and some imagination in how you plan a diet
- A track record of moving fast and hitting deadlines without a transparent map
