Role Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented City Head – Bengaluru to lead and scale the city business operations. The role will be responsible for driving overall revenue growth, managing city P&L;, leading Sales and Design teams, improving customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence across the Bengaluru market. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the interior design industry with proven expertise in business growth, team leadership, sales management, and project-driven operations.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Revenue Management

- Own and drive complete city revenue targets and business growth for Bengaluru.
- Develop city-level business strategies to improve sales conversion and profitability.
- Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue performance.
- Drive lead-to-sales conversion and maximize overall business efficiency.
- Ensure achievement of sales targets, collections, and overall business KPIs.

P&L; Management

- Take complete ownership of city P&L; and profitability.
- Monitor operational costs, margins, and business performance metrics.
- Improve contribution margins through strategic planning and execution control.
- Ensure financial discipline across teams and operations.

Sales Leadership

- Lead and manage the Sales team for consistent target achievement.
- Build strong sales pipelines through channel partners, referrals, and marketing alignment.
- Review sales performance regularly and implement improvement plans.
- Drive customer acquisition, upselling, and business expansion opportunities.

Design Team Management

- Lead and mentor Interior Designers and Design Managers across the city.




- Ensure high-quality customer consultations and design experiences.
- Maintain strong design quality, process adherence, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with execution teams to ensure smooth project handovers.

Team & Operations Management

- Build, manage, and scale high-performing city teams.
- Ensure operational efficiency across sales, design, and customer experience functions.
- Monitor team productivity, hiring needs, training, and performance management.
- Drive process improvements and implement best operational practices.

Customer Experience

- Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resolve escalations and maintain robust client relationships.
- Focus on customer satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.

Required Skills & Expertise:

- Strong understanding of interior design and home interior business operations.
- Proven experience in revenue management and city/business leadership roles.
- Strong P&L; management and business planning capabilities.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong sales acumen with ability to drive high-performance teams.
- Good understanding of design-to-execution workflows.
- Strong analytical, operational, and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of overall professional experience.
- 8+ years of experience in Interior Design / Home Interiors / Fit-Out industry.
- Prior experience in managing city/business operations is preferred.
- Experience in handling large sales and design teams will be an added advantage.

Preferred Background

- Candidates from interior design, modular interiors, fit-out, or home décor companies preferred.
- Prior experience with high-growth interior brands or multi-city operations is a plus.
