The Role

We're looking for a Founding CTO who wants to build category-defining AI products from the ground up.

This is not a maintenance role. You will architect the company's technology, hire the engineering team, make product decisions, and work directly with the founders to build one of the first truly autonomous AI workforces for businesses.

You should be excited about solving hard engineering problems rather than managing existing systems.

What You'll Build

- Multi-agent AI systems capable of collaborating like human teams
- Long-term memory and reasoning infrastructure
- Voice, email, WhatsApp, Slack, and browser-based digital employees
- Workflow orchestration across hundreds of SaaS products
- Reliable autonomous execution systems with human oversight
- Scalable backend infrastructure capable of supporting thousands of businesses
- Internal developer platform for rapidly shipping new digital employees

Responsibilities

- Own the company's technical vision and architecture
- Build and lead the engineering organization
- Ship products rapidly while maintaining engineering quality
- Make technology decisions across AI, backend, infrastructure, and security
- Work closely with founders on product strategy




- Recruit exceptional engineers and build a high-performance engineering culture
- Optimize for execution speed without compromising long-term scalability
- Stay at the forefront of AI infrastructure, models, and autonomous agent systems

What We're Looking For

- Strong experience building production-scale software products
- Deep understanding of modern AI systems and LLM applications
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
- Strong backend engineering skills
- Ability to move quickly with imperfect information
- Product-first thinking rather than technology-first thinking
- High ownership and willingness to build from zero
- Comfortable working in an early-stage startup with ambiguity

Nice to Have

- Experience building AI agents or autonomous systems
- Experience with voice AI, workflow automation, or enterprise software
- Open-source contributions
- Experience hiring and leading engineering teams
- Previous startup experience as an early engineer or founder
