Role Description This is a full-time Certified Spanish Translator role with a focus on U.S. immigration-related documents. The position is hybrid, based in New Delhi, with flexibility for partial work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating immigration forms, supporting documents, and legal correspondence from English to Spanish and Spanish to English while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and compliance with U.S. immigration standards.

The translator will review and verify AI-generated translations on Lekhak.app, correct errors, ensure proper terminology, and format documents according to official requirements. The role also involves interpreting content where needed, collaborating with internal teams to refine translation workflows,



and communicating clearly with stakeholders to clarify ambiguities and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

- Strong Spanish Translation and general Translation skills, with demonstrated expertise in legal and immigration contexts.
- Proficiency in English to Spanish and Spanish to English translation, including nuanced understanding of both language structures and regional usage.
- Interpreting and Communication skills to clarify complex document content and coordinate with internal teams or clients.
- Certification as a Spanish translator or interpreter (e.g., ATA, court-certified, or equivalent) with documented experience in U.S. immigration cases.
- Familiarity with U.S. immigration forms, procedures, and terminology (USCIS, consular processes, supporting evidence requirements).
- High attention to detail, ability to handle scanned, handwritten, and low-quality documents, and strong proofreading abilities.
- Comfort working with AI-powered tools and digital workflows; basic technical literacy for managing files and online platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Spanish, Law, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional experience may substitute.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup from New Delhi, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality and data security.
