What would you do? The role will be responsible to plan, coordinate, and execute trade merchandising activities on-time in full. The projects mainly focus on activities in Grocery and Convenience & Specialist outlets for shelf- or vending machine portfolio adjustments, compliance checks, implementation of secondary placements and advertising material exchange.
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
- A bachelor's degree in a business or Marketing field
- Pro-active team player
- End-to-end understanding of German market dynamics and supplier management
- Knowledge of external customer structures (e.g. technical requirements of vending equipment, specifics and branch structures in convenience and grocery)
- Confident presence and negotiation skills
- Assertiveness towards external agencies and internal interfaces.

- Experience Required
- Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in marketing or project management
- Experience in trade marketing or sales management desirable
- Knowledge of German trade landscape (Grocery, C&S; org.) (Added advantage)
- Proficiency in Coupa and PowerBI or similar system preferred
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Robust collaborator and cross-functional working experience drive for results
- German language proficiency (spoken and written)
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
- Experience in managing Trade marketing operations
- Experience in Coupa and PowerBI
- Proficient in Excel

- SPOC for sales reps for projects executed in "independent" outlets where contracts are aligned between retailer and sales rep, providing excel monitoring on sales rep level and sending out project status incl. highlights and room for improvement to BAT field force and other stakeholders
- Support the preparation and execution of Business Reviews with suppliers as per procurement guidelines
- Support continuous improvement initiatives - Optimization of existing processes by analysing the current situation and defining recommendations for action
- Contribute to projects regarding the implementation of new processes or project standards (e.g. interface creation for return execution, image recognition software implementation)
- Support tender process for new projects or new suppliers together with procurement, if needed
- Adapt framework agreements to changed conditions in cooperation with Procurement if required

Roles and Responsibilities
- Annual project planning by agency considering cost, capacity, and competencies; identify bottlenecks and synergies where applicable and present annual plan in campaign planning meetings
- Integration of ad hoc requests into annual project overview respecting lead-times, capacities, and prerequisites for execution (e.g., some petrol stations refuse compliance checks in summer holiday season, if compliance check slots in one month are fully booked - check priority with key accounts and which projects might be switched)
- Consulting key accounts and retail planning regarding possible route-to-markets and potential costs for different projects, if needed: participation in yearly key account meetings, e.g., with Edeka account
- Support planning, preparation, operational execution, and ongoing evaluation of several trade projects in parallel
- Initiate Kick-Off meeting with stakeholders based on received initial briefing/project request
- Participate for briefing-input and project management timeline per project & project approach with suppliers to receive a cost proposal
- Support review of cost proposals, check logic, and challenge pricing/calculated effort
- Select supplier in alignment with procurement/procurement guidelines and project requirements
- Support discussion development & KPIs for performance evaluation with KAM and service providers
- Coordinate project planning phase including final briefing alignment, agency training material, and reporting approval
- Support order related (Example: Order required material from BAT storage or as per briefing from supplier (vending machine spare parts) or key account (Edeka))
- Act as SPOC for service providers during project execution to clarify enquiries and complaints with key account management, delivery/order related
- Support and ensure timely and accurate execution, and escalate for solutions/support as needed
- Monitor project progress and proactively raise any concerns related to performance or missed deadlines and support & coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure it's on track.
- Coordinate with supplier for RQA sales and shipments (RQA = regional quality assessment, BAT and competitor products have to be bought and shipped for analyzation as per defined scope and schedule)
- Create purchase orders and check invoices from suppliers for all projects and (if required) material orders including budget monitoring
