Role Description The BIM Modeler – Scan to BIM intern will support the creation and development of accurate BIM models from reality capture data and existing construction documentation. This on-site internship role, based in Nagpur, involves translating point clouds and scans into detailed architectural, structural, and MEP models aligned with project standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, coordinating with senior engineers and modelers, and ensuring models comply with client requirements and industry best practices.





The intern will assist in updating models for design changes, performing quality checks, and organizing model data for downstream use such as clash detection and digital twin workflows. This role offers hands-on exposure to BIM processes and tools within a collaborative engineering environment.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), including familiarity with Scan to BIM workflows and common BIM authoring tools.
- Knowledge of Architecture and construction fundamentals to accurately interpret and translate design intent into models.
- Ability to work as a BIM Modeler, focusing on detailed, coordinated 3D modeling and data integrity.
- Understanding of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their representation in BIM environments.
- Experience or coursework in reading and interpreting Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
- Relevant academic background in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or related engineering disciplines.
- Attention to detail, robust analytical skills, and commitment to accuracy and quality in deliverables.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site in Nagpur.
- Familiarity with reality capture technologies (e.g., laser scanning, point clouds) is an added advantage.
