Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Hadoop Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in managing and supporting large-scale Hadoop ecosystems. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge of Big Data technologies and distributed systems, along with strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning capabilities.

The candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the stability, scalability, and performance of the organization’s Big Data platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business-critical data operations.

Location: Hyderabad/Noida/Indore

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer, manage, and support Hadoop ecosystem components including HDFS, YARN, Spark, Hive, Kafka, HBase, Solr, and Airflow.
- Perform installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Big Data platforms.
- Manage cluster capacity planning, upgrades,



patching, and backup/recovery activities.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of Hadoop infrastructure.
- Monitor cluster health and proactively resolve production issues and bottlenecks.
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, and support teams for seamless platform operations.
- Implement automation and operational best practices for platform stability and efficiency.
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and documentation of solutions.
- Optimize Hadoop ecosystem performance and resource utilization.
- Participate in system maintenance activities and provide operational support when required.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem technologies:
- HDFS
- YARN
- Spark
- Hive
- Kafka
- HBase
- Solr
- Airflow
- Robust Linux/Unix administration experience.
- Good understanding of distributed systems and Big Data architecture.
- Experience in cluster monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of scripting/automation using Shell or Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Knowledge of RDBMS concepts and database administration.
- Exposure to cloud environments and containerization technologies will be an added advantage.
