What You Will Do

- Design and implement scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.
- Architect and optimize data models in MongoDB for high-performance transactional and analytical workloads.
- Build secure, versioned RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs consumed by React frontends and AI services.
- Design event-driven and asynchronous workflows using queues, background jobs, and streaming patterns.
- Develop and maintain microservices that integrate AI workflows into the platform.
- Implement caching strategies (Redis or similar) for performance optimization.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance in production environments.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, observability, logging, and monitoring practices.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product, and AI teams to define clean service contracts.
- Drive backend architecture decisions aligned with long-term scalability and maintainability.

What You Bring





- Backend engineering experience building production SaaS platforms.
- Deep expertise in Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and backend design patterns.
- Strong experience with MongoDB including schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning.
- Experience building scalable REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Solid understanding of authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth, RBAC).
- Experience with AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Robust knowledge of system design, distributed systems fundamentals, and API security best practices.
- Experience with performance optimization, caching, and database query tuning.
- A product mindset and ability to translate complex requirements into reliable backend systems.

Bonus Points

- Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
- Experience integrating AI frameworks or working with LLM APIs.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or hybrid database architectures.
- Experience building complex B2B systems (CRM, GTM, analytics, revenue operations).
- Exposure to observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
