Ekatraa is a Technology Driven and AI-powered Event Service Marketplace.

We are looking for an AWS / Cloud Infrastructure Intern who wants hands-on experience working with real product infrastructure and cloud environments.

Role Overview The selected candidate will work with the engineering team on AWS infrastructure, cloud resources, deployment environments, security, monitoring, scalability, and infrastructure management.

This role is focused specifically on AWS and cloud infrastructure, rather than CI/CD or Kubernetes.

They will get a monthly stipend along with performance incentives.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing AWS infrastructure for Ekatraa's applications.

Configure and maintain AWS services based on product requirements.

Assist with server, storage, networking, and database infrastructure.

Manage AWS environments for development, staging, and production.

Assist with IAM roles, permissions, and access management.

Monitor infrastructure performance and resource utilization.

Troubleshoot AWS infrastructure and server-related issues.

Assist with security groups, networking, DNS, SSL, and related configurations.

Help implement monitoring, logging, backup, and recovery mechanisms.

Assist with infrastructure scalability and reliability.

Maintain proper documentation of AWS infrastructure and configurations.

Work closely with backend and development teams on infrastructure requirements.

Required Skills

Practical understanding of AWS.

Understanding of cloud computing fundamentals.

Basic Linux/server administration knowledge.

Understanding of networking fundamentals.

Knowledge of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, ports, and firewalls.

Understanding of IAM and cloud security principles.





Basic understanding of databases and cloud storage.

Familiarity with Git is preferred.

Product-Based Evaluation

Practical product knowledge will be an significant part of the selection process.

Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to understand how AWS infrastructure should be designed and managed for a real-world product, rather than only their theoretical knowledge.

The assessment may include scenarios involving:

Deploying and hosting a real application on AWS.

Selecting appropriate AWS services for a product requirement.

Designing basic cloud architecture.

Managing production and development environments.

Handling infrastructure failures.

Managing permissions and access securely.

Scaling infrastructure as the number of users increases.

Monitoring and troubleshooting an application running on AWS.

Candidates who have personally deployed projects on AWS or worked with real cloud infrastructure will be preferred.
