Role Description This is a full-time, in office Automation Engineer role based in the Pune District.

The Automation

Engineer will design, implement, and optimize automation solutions for stamping and bending manufacturing processes, ensuring reliable integration of electrical, control, and robotic systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and maintaining process control systems, troubleshooting equipment and automation issues, and collaborating with production and maintenance teams to maximize machine uptime and efficiency. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives, documenting technical changes,



and providing on-site technical guidance to operators and technicians.

The Automation

Engineer will work closely with global YSM teams to align local solutions with international standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong automation and process control skills, including experience with PLCs, sensors, and control systems.
- Solid foundation in electrical engineering, with the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and implement safe, reliable wiring and system configurations.
- Experience with robotics and robotic integration in manufacturing environments, including programming, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues in automated production equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and best practices in automated manufacturing.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune District, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with operators and management.
- Experience in stamping, bending, or similar high-volume manufacturing processes is an advantage.
