Role Description The AutoCad Architect role at SMARTANK is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The AutoCad Architect will create, update, and refine architectural drawings and construction drawings using AutoCAD and related design tools. Daily responsibilities include developing detailed floor plans and space planning concepts, coordinating design inputs with project stakeholders, and ensuring drawings comply with local building codes and standards.





The role involves collaborating closely with consultants and internal teams, documenting design changes, and preparing clear, accurate layouts and technical documentation. The AutoCad Architect is expected to contribute to efficient project delivery through precise drafting, timely revisions, and effective communication.

Qualifications

- Ability to produce precise architectural drawings and construction drawings using AutoCAD and similar tools.
- Strong skills in drawing and space planning to create functional, aesthetically sound layouts.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering documents.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and regulations relevant to projects in Mumbai.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with 3D modeling or BIM tools (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) is an advantage.
- Previous experience in an architectural or construction workplace is preferred.
