Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Team Leader (ATL) – Australian Accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Australian accounting and taxation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage accounting processes and team members effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Handle Australian accounting and taxation processes, including BAS, GST, Australian Tax Returns, and Australian Payroll.
- Perform accounts finalization and prepare/review financial statements.
- Handle SMSF accounting and related accounting requirements.
- Communicate and coordinate with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regarding queries, notices, and accounting/tax-related issues.




- Ensure compliance with Australian accounting and taxation requirements.
- Review financial statements, reports, and accounting records for accuracy.
- Handle and resolve complex accounting issues and discrepancies.
- Manage client onboarding and ensure smooth transition of accounting processes.
- Manage and monitor team members, work allocation, productivity, and deadlines.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to team members.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure the delivery of accurate and timely work.
- Assist in process improvement and implementation of productive accounting practices.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and address their accounting-related queries.
- Support the Team Leader in managing day-to-day team operations.
- Ensure proper time management and timely completion of client deliverables.
- Foster team motivation, employee development, and a positive work environment.

Experience: 4–7 Years

Prior experience in Australian Accounting is preferred.

Candidates with hands-on experience in Australian Accounting, Taxation, BAS, GST, Payroll will be preferred.
